Interventional Cardiologist – Flexible Block Schedule
Join a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in cardiovascular care, committed to advancing patient outcomes, strengthening multidisciplinary partnerships, and serving the growing needs of the community.

Position Highlights:

Schedule: Full-time equivalent (182.5 days/year) with a structured block schedule (7 days on/7 days off). 1-3 year contract.

Where flexibility meets stability. Block scheduling gives you predictable time on and true time off.

Clinical Responsibilities:
- Inpatient consults
- Outpatient cardiology clinic (minimal)
- 24/7 General and STEMI call during block schedule
Diagnostic & Interpretive Duties:
- Diagnostic LHC/RHC – Coronary angiography
- Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)
- Echo Reads
- Instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR)
- IVUS
- Nuclear cardiology studies
- Supervise or interpret stress testing
Procedures:
- Cardioversion
- Cardiac Cath – Diagnostic/PC
- IABP
- Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Temporary Pacemakers
- Pacemaker Implants (preferred but not required)
- Peripheral Intervention (preferred but not required)
Collaborative Environment: Work closely with APPs, PCPs, and Hospitalists

Requirements:

Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
50 PCI’s/year over the last 24 months
IMLC State – Licensure facilitation provided
