Interventional Cardiologist – Flexible Block Schedule

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Full-time equivalent (182.5 days/year) with a structured block schedule (7 days on/7 days off).  1-3 year contract.

Where flexibility meets stability. Block scheduling gives you predictable time on and true time off.

• Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Outpatient cardiology clinic
  • Inpatient consults
  • Heart failure management
  • Lipid and hypertension management
  • 24/7 call during block schedule

• Diagnostic & Interpretive Duties:
  • Diagnostic LHC/RHC – Coronary angiography
  • Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)
  • Instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR)
  • IVUS
  • Nuclear cardiology studies
  • Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
  • Supervise or interpret stress testing

• Procedures:
  • Cardioversion
  • Cardiac Cath – Diagnostic/PC
  • IABP
  • Impella
  • Temporary Pacemakers
  • Pacemaker Implants (preferred but not required)
  • Peripheral Intervention (preferred but not required)
  • Thrombectomy (preferred but not required)

• Collaborative Environment: Work closely with APPs, PCPs, Hospitalists, Interventionalists

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
• 50 PCI’s per year for the last 2 years
• IMLC State – Licensure facilitation provided
