IR Tech – 13-Week Travel Assignment

Location: Detroit, Michigan

Shift: Work five 8-hour shifts, Mon-Fri (40-hour guarantee)

Position: IR Tech

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with the advanced registry in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI); Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CV)

Responsibilities:

• Perform full spectrum on IR procedures including stroke and oncologic interventions, pulmonary thrombectomy, biliary and urinary drainage, plasty, stenting, G and GJ tube placements, peripheral arterial and venous revascularization, myelography and lumbar puncture, Y-90 and DEB-TACE, and other procedures
• Lab sees high-acuity patients and averages 32 cases per day
• Minimum need to scrub
• Utilize advanced technology and equipment, including PACS, single plane and biplane GE, Phillips and Siemens Angiography, Philips and Sonare ultrasound, and EPIC EMR
